No traps, its as easy as that mate but if it was me id replace the airbags as its a better ride and price wise theres nowt in it, mine was changed to coils when i bought it but im changing it back as i think the coils on mine are to soft as to my eye she looks an inch low at the back and bounces to much
Just my opinion

glad you said that bud, wont change mine over now.;)

I'm in the process of gathering the parts to convert my rangey back to air bladders, everything was stripped from it when I bought it..

The coils just don't cut it when towing.. It's an awful ride..

I also have spine problems..
3 worn out disks, and crumbling spine.
The range rover is very comfy but air bladders will make it much better as we tow a 1700kg caravan every couple of weeks...

I was told to have surgery but I said while I can still get about I will leave it alone,
The specialist said I would be back begging for the op within 2 years... 8 years later I'm still in pain but I'm still in a full time job.. And still paying my mortgage...

I was warned of incontinance etc but no real probs yet.. So they can keep the op...

well if you want the truth you can send me a pm if you want.

dont know anyone near me to try that james.

My Disco 2 has the air suspension replaced with coils, was like it when I bought it so don't really have anything to compare but it does feel comfortable to me. I suspect also it is lifted slightly as the gap between wheel and arch at the back is noticeably higher than the front.

I am based just outside Basingstoke and you would be welcome to have a go on mine to see what you think. If you are anywhere around these parts?

hi,many thanks for the generous offer, but i am over 200 miles north of you.:D

John, the one I just got rid of was coils, this new one is air. Don't change to coils, they are w, erm rubbish.

You know this from the rangey. Yeah they can be hassle but I doubt they are much hassle.

The bags can be fitted quick and easy, probs not for u but I can sort em for ya when ya need me to as you well know. I have been looking through the replacement pumps and because there is no reservoir you just need a 12v pump with 50% duty cycle that physically fits in the box and its sorted.

Cheap as chips.

FFS don't go putting coils on
