And kill em clean? With prometheus pellets, I rather think not.

60 yards kills are easily possible with a sub 12fpe gun, but unless you're supremely confident, and it's a completely still day, then 35 yards is probably the general limit for hunting.
prometheus pellets are alright, but you're better off with lead
I've got a tx200 right now. just stripped the stock and re-oiled it and had the metal re-blued
i heard somewhere that it only takes a pellet travelling at 3ft-p on contact to kill a bunny..
is this correct?
thank you
domes or points?
only springer i have left is the Scorpion (just for plinking)
it depends really. domes are probably better for bunnies, as the points could easily over-penetrate, not transferring all of the energy in to the target. I'd got with points for pigeons points aren't good for shooting paper, as you can't see the holes well, although air arms hunter are ok in paper, they're in-between domes and points flat heads cut out nice like round holes which are great for target shooting on paper!

The very best springers are 'break barrel' I have a Brummy Webley Tomahawk in .22, not for sale though, also a Webley Tracker (not break barrel but a bloody good airgun) and I have several other Webley's including a Longbow and a few BSA break barrel's.

What do you think to BSA Supersport or Meteor as rifles?
Haha no worries, I know of someone selling a Webley eclipse, with scopes. It's a .22 springer, reckon he will take 100Thanks DieselDisco - nice to get the thread back on topic!
