Evening. I would recommend joining airgunbbs.com and the "air rifles/pistols gloucestershire/worcestershire/herefordshire" facebook group. I'm in to air rifles myself, but none of mine would suit you, or are for sale at the moment

The very best springers are 'break barrel' I have a Brummy Webley Tomahawk in .22, not for sale though, also a Webley Tracker (not break barrel but a bloody good airgun) and I have several other Webley's including a Longbow and a few BSA break barrel's.
meteor was a good springer never shot the supersport but the airsporter was the best IMHO

depends a lot on what ya wanna do with the rifle...
plinkin targets in ya garden at 10 yds, or rabbits at 35 yds..

i've just got into same thing..
bought a weihrauch 99s, great gun powerful, but a little noisy spring, pigeons were taking flight before pellet arrived..
just got a air arms tx200, lots quieter.. not tried it out in the field yet..

35 yards is a decent range.
might as well get a catapult if you're shooting that close

2nd hand £235...
seems to be the going rate, from a dealer in brighouse.. bben to a few shops to look at em, was either that or a weihrauch hw97k, they are a similar price..
have a look on gunstar on tinternet.. loads for sale all over uk.. private and dealers..
