Aftermarket calipers

Hi fellas.

Tried rebuilding the rear calipers on my 96 defender 90. But they are too worn, pads are falling through the caliper.

I have searched but found nothing concrete. Has anyone used allmakes or bearmach calipers. If so what do they think of them?

have you tried Rimmers Brothers, they seem to stock quite a few bits with options on oem or aftermarket parts

Bought some Bearmach rear calipers for my 90 12-months ago and they have been fine. They work perfectly well and the external coating is still shiny.

Bought whatever Paddocks sell for front calipers for mine. All good so far!

Same as Harry - purchased 2 years ago from Paddocks, no issues

Think back then they were about £40 each

I have these on my 90 and the equivalent on my disco - they are bearmach and seem fine/easy to fit etc. They are from JGS4x4 - near Kettering so if you can get in to collect they will discount their eBay price. I bought the ones below for my 90 a few weeks ago they were about £60 for the pair inc. VAT etc.

+1 for Bearmach, did the fronts on me 110 last year, been perfect ever since.
