To be fair to him I don't torque my wheel nuts either. I tighten them up properly as I've been taught and never had any problems whatsoever. Then again I'm pretty strong

Overtightening can be as bad as undertightening, the studs stretch and the nuts end up loose.
Tell that to the dicks at Kwikfit.

Noooo that's even worse. I hate that. There's nothing more of a pain in the arse than when someone's putting yer wheel on and they just whack the nuts on with an impact gun or an air gun. You go to the gym don't you, use your muscles like you should
