I've no desire to get it up and running this minute, when i see a condenser at a good price I'll buy one, you've given me confidence guys thanks

A proper Hella one can be had from your local guys for £110. I got mine from Allparts but Eurocarparts probably supply too. Check the Hella site for their distributors.

Cheers, local landy guy or local ac guy?
I looked at ecp last night and they were expensive!! Even with the discount code

Local parts. Might be the covid effect as prices seem to be rocketing. I rang Allparts after speaking to Hella as they are close to me. Hella (in Oxfordshire) were very friendly and helpful. I often find if I ring Eurocarparts main number they're helpful and offer a discount. Failing that, get the part number and wait for one of their big discount weekends. Often on a Bank Holiday.

I got a new condenser from island 4x4 ,It was a nissens £79.00 free delivery got seals n other bits ,The fit was not perfect ,fans bolted on but had to remove two locating pins fitted to car at the bottom and elongate the holes on the turbo inter-cooler by two or three mills Got it gassed im a cool happy bunny :D:D....o mines a diesel...

I did buy an EIS one from ecp last year, it was a VERY good price. But the fans had no hope of fitting
My other concern is the fans themselves, or rather the ecu side of things.
Obviously the system doesn't turn on because there is no pressure, but there is no book symbol on hevac and no stored faults, yet nanocom is unable to turn the fans on, with the error... unable to communicate :(

If the seals are old, it's definitely worth replacing them at any joint you disconnect as they are not expensive. I used an eBay kit couple of years ago & AC is still working fine.

Cheapest i can see a hella one is £135, i can find an unknown brand for ~£60 which is a big difference!!!

There seem to be all sorts of spec 'pag' oil, anything particular i should be looking at getting?

Ok thanks, i just need to source a condenser and the necessary fixings and take a gamble then
I think Kwik**** do a recharging service,no work no pay. They did mine and it didn't work and quote" we cannot get involved in getting it to work". So I brought it home and the plug on the tri pressure switch was a bad connection, happy days, I went back to pay them NOT.:D:D

Can anyone think why my nanocom won't talk to the ac fans?
In motronic outputs, you can turn the condenser fans on and off along with fuel pump relay, EBOX fan and CVS valve.
For me, only the fuel pump responds, the others say error communicating with ecu.
Surely it's the same motronic ecu in each case? Or is that too simple?

Cheer you too! I thought about that and already ruled it out :(
Wouldn't explain why the others don't work either though,

Although just worked out CVS is (evap,) canister vent, pretty sure we don't have that in UK

Unles you run directly from the battery to the fans and try that way. They are mounted on a plastic frame but you can check continuity also;)

Yep I've connected to 12v and they run fine, I'm just worried that because the nano can't talk, nothing will happen when i get the system filled with gas and press the ac button on the hevac
