Lovely Range Rover.
Two doors are making good money.
I have a 72 two door but not any where as good as that.
You don't see them driving about much any more.
:)

I emailed them for some history of the RR.....!

At one point it was living in London but then went out of town and was left in a shed, or dry stored as a vendor would say ;)

I think it is quite good nick and it took a lot of digging to find it at auction and it only appeared on the web a few days before the sale date so I doubt it went for what it could have done as it just hadn't been marketed.

I've seen worse ones go for more.

A man needs to make a living so good luck to him.

They're all being bought up in London at the moment so will probably get the money,

The Barons blurb says it has a 5 speed box but they didn't come in till '83. Having said that, the interior pic on C&C looks like a 4speeder.

Nice motor but can't see 12k in it.

Cheers

The blurb on the Barons site has changed in the last week.

Originally it talked about the car being passed to a younger member of the family who carried out some sympathetic restoration, which possibly included painting the wheels yellow.

This bit has all disappeared.

The chap now selling it has about 4 absolute junk CSKs up at insane prices.

I suspect that fact that he once worked at Astons has given him the right to charge such prices, but they seem very high to me.

Having said that all top RRCs are being bought up by people in London. They are becoming very popular back in Town as people seek to stand out from the Arabs and the footballers.

As such, I think he'll get the money easily enough. It just takes time.
