90 roof lininig - dying??

the roof heading in my 90 has seen better days, i have taken it out and powerwashed it, which has helped to some extent. Its structurally sound, but just a bit stained and tatty.

has anyone ever tried dying theres with a black dye? if so, what did they use, how did it work?

Plasticote flexible spray paint for upholstery. Available lots of colours from B&Q

Sorted mine by using Oxyclean in warm water applied with a washing up sponge, followed by an aerosol upholstery cleaner (Halfords)

I've just refitted mine after recovering it with black felt. I'm well pleased with the result

where did you get the felt from?

eBay. There's loads of people selling it. I ripped off the existing felt stuff, and then used a spray carpet adhesive to stick it the new felt to the backing. It's turned out good.

that felt thing is a good idea might try that myself .the range of coloured felt could make it very unique .thanks for that
