i was thinking stretch the chassis while fitting 3rd axle, but i could do with some diamensions,i have some rough measurements after scaling from pictures based on wheel size

stretching a chassis is an enormous job really not worth it when you can just buy a 130 with an extra 20 inches already.

at the back! ye you need to check individual axle load bearing capacity and before you add another have a look at different axles. i wouldnt put the crane BEHIND the axle though.

Hi, I build a custom flatbed with hiab I ton lift on the back, it was a hicap easy to remove the back scetion, it carrys a ton anywhere, I builded custom trucks as part on my job in my workshops. the 110 as the biggests spring you can buy. we use it on the beach, on the farm, You can not carry much more than that, if you go over 3.5 tons you need a tacho on the road, the 110 with the crane is 2.5 tons so a ton is all you can carry anyway & a 130 is a big Landrover to turn in small space and work with. if you put to big a crane on there is no load carrying left.

It`s works for me 7 days a week ,lifting all my welder/gensets, marine engines for boats on the beach, farm machines just about the lot, it will lift and carry a bag of logs & tow a 2.5 ton trailer full in mud.
same type of work mate ,id like to fit a bit bigger crane though even if i sacrifice payload or fit tacho
