not sure yet, debating options and the fact this has already cost me a grand and bar the pistons I still have to buy all the shiney bits :D

after you said about the rust and the missing lable and reading up on how so many "quality" brands are farming stuff out I thought I would look at the aussie options for parts as I am getting the lifters etc from there anyway (btw engine builder said mini blokes are doing the same lol)

when the aussie supplier listed the brands for all the bits for me it turns out the cam is EAC, seems a bit daft to ship it to aus from coventry and then back to hampshire so I could get it direct- but only if they are good!

I had never heard of them, might give them a ring or email

NEVER SIMPLE!!!!

phone call from craddocks this morning, " we only have 4 pistons" WTF was the point of selling me 8 of them then, especially as I made you go and check the date of them on the box how did you not notice there was only 4

anyway 15 phone calls later I have ended up paying another £50 and getting a set of 2003 federal mogul ones from dingo's.

Not all bad though as dunsfold were sad to hear all the work its needed they sold me a NOS genuine cam from 1980's and a set of vandavel big end bearings for £100 delivered :D

well I can beat the rust on your new cam Mark, I just unwrapped the cam from dunsfolds and it snapped in half :(

another buggernace is that the machine shop called yesterday and one of the 8 2003 FM pistons was in the right box but was the wrong piston and dingos has run out. he is looking to see if he can get me one more now from a contact.

Am I just unlucky or are parts never right the first time round?

not with parts. FFS considering all the parts I am ordering are only 3.5 common parts its fookin ridiculous that we cant get them right here in the home of the RV8

that isky looks nice but because I am using non standard hi-comp pistons I am a bit worried about moving away from the standard cam in case I end up with valves hitting pistons

Wonder if you contacted isky and ask there tech dept?????? should give you a good answer. Think you can email question or call them.... calls from UK are free to US for upto 45 minutes. Father inlaw calls everyday for free :)
