My 300TDI is a 1997 import model and while it may be fantastic in the body and chassis dept has caused me no end of sleepless nights recently.
All was well until the CHECK ENGINE light came on....
Eventually the computer linked into the ECU said that there was a problem with the injector with the wire attached, the one at the bulkhead end of the engine.
Apparently all I have to do is get a new injector, part number;
ERR 3337E OR BOSCH NUMBER 0432 193 834.
This is all good and well but I cannot find any such part from the main suppliers.
So, here is where it all goes wrong, my Disco is an AUTOMATIC. I have an old 300TDI engine with a new fuel pump and injectors fitted, can I just have it changed in place of my current enigine? Or can I replace the current injection pump and injectors from my old engine to the engine in my AUTOMATIC?
Lastly, I have a load of pumps and injectors which have all been refurbed, will they be OK to replace my current setup?
