Hi all

In the process of getting my freshly fitted 300 Tdi going.

I've bled the fuel system in the following way so far;

- Cracked off fuel filter bleed screw and got fuel coming through there. Filter is full.

- Cracked off injection pump return line and got plenty of fuel coming through there.

Now, there isn't any fuel coming through the injector lines at all when turning the engine over.

Stop solenoid clicks when 12v is applied and turned off.

Anything I'm missing here?

N.b. engine is a late-ish Defender one, code 23L.

Thanks muchly! :)

Might be a sticky stop solenoid - remove the solenoid - remove the plunger - replace the stop solenoid - start engine (stall engine to stop)

injector pump is turning ?not edc ?,could be knackered pump as previously said ,but worth removing injector pipes and undoing each outlet (delivery valve )in turn cleaning and putting back in ,

We had the exact same problem after we did an engine swap on Bump's Disco earlier this year.
Long story short, there was stray, single black earth wire which we hadn't connected near the fuse box on the inner wing. Put that back in its place and it fired up straight away. :)
