hmm, is it that the shell is slightly too long so distorting on the crank when done up and getting too tight?

I will need too check what order the the rods go in in mine as when the machine shop pressed on the new pistons he got them all out of order lol

Im not sure whats wrong... put a bit of blue on the shell and teat fit it and there was a strip sidways that had allot more pressure than the rest of the shell. It shouldnt matter what way. Just make sure that the con sits on the centre of the gudgen when on thr crank.

well, I didnt look in detail at every shell, could have been more warn, its not much its out by, cleaning all the oil deposits from under the shell helped by around 30%

no shells ,but not fitted to crank ,normally you nip cap and rod up and check for fit, whether youve kept them together or not obviously with cap the right way round ,and if your keen measure if still round with a bore guage

im a bit confused, no shells, to fell what joints? lol its all fine apart from the 1, had it out the bore done up on the crank and the bearings solid, rest turns over fine

to check once cap is tight it makes a perfect circle with rod ,you cant take for granted they were perfect before so you check all before fitting rod/piston and shells

right I got it now (blonde moment!) ill check it out when I can next thanks james :)
can they be bored out if it is a the problem?
if it is wrong remove the rest and check them first ,the caps and rods arent marked from factory its not unkown for someone to make a mistake before you ,sometimes its very obvious sometimes like you have , try some of the other shells if not cap issue
