so ruled out everything but the conrod
have you checked it as i suggested ?when i do it up on the crank it seizes solid, the shell is fine as i checked it in another conrod and another shell in the problem one, also on another crank position.
i just scarpped a load of conrods and pistons about 3 weeks ago , you could have chosen from 16 with caps :doh:
i think i may have mentioned that a few times ,im not talking from books but real lifeIll take another look now im off today. Oh and I think I may have mixed caps! Looks like they have been balanced, not on the ends like fetts but on the sides which is good as I may be able to match the rod/cap
