200TDi Timing Belt

I need to do my timing belt, any last minuit advice befor i destroy my engine would be apprechated.

Also somone told me to buy a landrover belt not a 3rd party one as they dont last, be this true? Theres about a £20 difference.

Im tempted to have it done buy a garage, i dont want to screw this up.

You just answered all your own questions.

Land Rover Belt slightly better quality than an after market one.
If you are not very mechanically minded then get some other sucker to do it for you and if they FECK up then you have someone else to blame and not yourself

I changed a transfer box yesterday, all seemed to go to plan. I just have this thing with engines where i inedvertantly destroy them...

Yea i think its best somone else does it then, i understand there are (or lack understanding of) other bits that need moving, changing and replacing along the way.
