Servicol will clean it out best. Use WD at your own peril.
So it's not a OE thing then? I'll tuck it back up and pretend I didn't see itCB Radio aerial lead ??
Googling that and nowt came up.Servicol will clean it out best. Use WD at your own peril.
I'm off this morning to fetch that nanocom for £400 cos no one said "don't do it"!
Dont know how much they are brand new, But you may have to pay a fee to reg it to you. did you say it was for the P38 diesel I dont know if they are different for petrol, diesel or just need to be for P38.
I dont know for sure. Worth checking on the BBS site.

It has got a reverse camera, which works but the camera itself, under the rear bumper has a bust clear lens protecter so the image is bad on the rear view monitor that clips over the rear view mirror. The leads for that have been fed under the headliner.Mine was £350 with the diesel codes. Each engine requires a different module (EDC, GEMS or THOR). Of course, that was before the pound had one of its plummets so it probably costs £450 new now.
That lead looks like it might have had a reversing camera at some stage.
I just used contact electrical cleaner on my OBD port, together with a panel pin to jiggle in the holes. Then push the plug in and out a few times.

It's depressing I know but I've never taken a vehicle to a garage ever, except for a mot and I'm reluctant to start now.I priced one at £500 all in
That’s what I payed for the whole vehicle! And why I insist on not having one.
Just got back.
He said he paid nearly £600 for it from bearmach, it has never been registered, leads still in sealed plastic bags, never been plugged in.
BBS emailed me and said I will have to pay the vat when it reaches the UK plus import duty but he says import duty varies so couldn't give me an idea how much that would be and then carriage (£35 iirc) it came to a shade over £500 plus whatever the import duty would be.
It is the 06 diesel one I've got
Wouldn't drop the price but did give me the original handbook for his foc.
He also gave me a power supply unit, brand new, he says the nanocom doesn't have batteries and (he thinks) you need one to use it on the car? I thought the nanocom powered itself through the obd port? He wasn't sure then either but said take the PSU anyway
That must have been awkward, specialy if the lid was shutI made a new lens for one of my cameras from a bit of plastic in the recycling bin.

Roger that, thanks.Powers through OBD port. It comes with power cable and USB cable to connect to computer for updates. The power cable is because the old USB ports sometimes didn't have enough power.
Import duties: of course! The Brexit Effect.

Noted..How many fault codes... my guess 67
