how did it go?
Yep, how did it go??
how did it go?
How was the 300 tdi conversion done btw?
Got any pics on the engine bay?
What do you mean how was it done???
I can take pics tomorrow if needed.
1895 (c) 300tdi conversion with r380 gear box and transfer box
Never heard of using a 300tdi prop.!?
Mines done properly with a full 300 tdi donor. And a r380 gearbox so the engine is sitting in the middle of the engine bay. Not bodged in and right up to the bulkhead. And 300tdi engine mounts welded in.
and your gear sticks are in the correct position?
did you do the conversion btw?
Yes my sticks are in the right position. But remember you'll need a r380 tunnel housing or 300tdi defender one in the cab.
Then you've got your exhaust to think about 300tdi defender exhaust but then get the welder out as youll have to make new exhaust hangers.
Steve parker does the bits.
I never did my conversion but I've done two 200tdi conversions on other defenders a few years back.
Anyone know if this is still for sale?
Wow, I've just read this entire thread and you've certainly been through the mill with all of the comments on here.
Looks to be a good truck IMO.
rightio. i think you can use a kit from ashcroft for converting the disco to defender long stick and i can reuse the lt77 top to get the sticks in the right place.
cheers, i think i need a bit more research.
sorry for the thread hijack
