Yes I know. But new job forces my sale really I work in Leeds so it's a 70 mile round trip a day. I'm Just burning too much fuel. I'd keep it, but at the moment it's just not the right time to have a defender. :-(
 
If your driving to leeds every day are you still using this with no mot or have you had it done? I'd be interested if it had mot or a least a fail sheet to give an idea what it needs.
 
No I work nights and use the missus car now but she does 70 miles round trip too, so the miles are whacking up on her car. The MOT hasn't been done waiting till pay day!
I changed the transfer box from a disco and the handbrake cable needs changing for a 300tdi defender one to mate to the handbrake assembly. And a windscreen washer jet.
I know it's a hard sell with no MOT but honestly it's in good nick underneath. It passed last MOT with no advisories last time round. And it's not done more than 3000 miles since then.
 
Also apparently it got rebuilt in 2003 when it was imported from southern Ireland But then I have no proof of this.
 
Kenny, I'll swap snorkels before you sell it.. ive got a 300 one but a 200 truck..

The rebuilds going well, you and Laura shoud call in..
