I see the TD5 was originally advertised as having an 0-62 time of 17.5 seconds. I haven't formally tested this, but it feels perilously slow when I am on a slip road trying to match my speed to motorway traffic.
you lucky feckers, mine is 44 seconds.......
however it does 0-20 in a mere 10 seconds
2.5na
...- & yes I already know I'm an old fart!
My Defender V8 will do it in around 16 secs, my bike will do it in less than 4.
Indeed

Not standard V8, but with roof rack, winch and bumper adding weight, and Disco diffs increasing the gearing, it isn't as quick as it could be.Bit sluggy for a V8 isn't it? Or is it on standard carbs?
