Cheers Col, the boots are these ones, like a chukka/chelsea boot ankle high with side zips for ease of on/off. The laces you just do up the once to get the fit you like.

Used to be called "Chelsea boots" but I am showing my age yet again.
Unless he means steelies or walkin boots!"
