Nowhere, it just hangs there. I would suggest someone has fixed that clip to the hose in the past. If you want to you could find a convenient place to fix it to.

I’m pretty sure now that the clip was under one of the self tappers on the Inner wing that holds the round cover in place. Seems ok anyway.

That clips just holds the loose end from flapping about. The hose just drains to atmosphere
