Is this kind of extension legal ?

The metal part you see is welded to the outrigger and then a saddle is placed over the top, there will be another hole drilled through the extension and the bulkhead and tubed for strength and then the saddle attached using this bolt ?

Are you thinking bypass the outrigger and create a mount onto the slider ?
