Just had a ex camel trophy 110 in for me to quote, the sd cage had mounting points made of 3mm plate and one vertical tube had been cut wrong and tacked back together where you cant see700 for a comp spec isnt bad. is that just the flat pack tho?:
Time to fit and all the 1/4 plate required to make it work and be legal takes all the time.

It wasnt a field repair it was dirty fitting. I could have rolled up the bracket with my bare hands, and was a support bracket not a fixing plate3mm is all AWDC Regs require. 6mm is ALRC clubs. As for the mis welding aka possibly done in the field at the event if its a genuine team motor or a landrover screw up both seem quite plausable.
Yep, it's looking great but can't wait to see it in 2 weeks out in the field!

Aaaaaaand, we forgot about the oil cooler which evacuated (some but not all of) the engine oil fairly quickly!
Lol
Main hoop goes to main chassis rails?? Welded to a 6 mm spreader plate then bolted to another chassis spreader plate or welded directly to the chassis depending on how you want to do it asking as it is an approved design. Will check now you got me thinking. the centreline of the rear hoop should be no greater than 250mm from rear of crash helmet/head when fitted.
DR EVIL! ARE YOU WATCHING THIS!!:bolt:
