It had to be done. Drew came over...
Him on the ferry.
While I was having a cupp in bed wiv my dog.
Quick fry-up and then I decided I would 'quickly' fit the blacksheep (pressbrake) HD bumpy off Scratchy. Unfortunately the lower brackets were 1/4" too wide for the Series chassis. So I ground 'em down.
The realised the holes were in the wrong place so had to grind them out too. Finally got on the road at nearly midday....
Some folk might kinda recognise these lanes, they were the first on the chippy run part deux.
Here we are up above Corfe Castle...
Then we headed up Creech, this is usually a really picturesque but exactly taxing lane. I was a little different in the snow - it had drifted across the track and made for some play. The route down to Creech lodge was even more fun, some reasonable drifts and sheet ice on the road!
This is us up top.
Then along to the Lulworth lane, quick stop to make yellow snow. My mate Abna did the sensible thing and didna get out. (You can just about make out Portand in the distance).
Met Boomer for a carvery at the Red Lion - I wish I'd taken a photo showing how much a Boomer can fit on a plate at a carvery!
Then we went down to Morton ford to see how deep it was. And it was. I'll put a linky on to Drew fording it once it uploads.
Back via Creech which was even more fun going the other way. Was too busy to get any pics, really wish I had a dash cam!
And back for a warming pint at my local.
Top day - all capped off with having a late pint with Carl - the sax player out of Madness. Mental!
