nope what i done is a cleffer bit of henjunearing

went to the thermostat and removed it swapping it for one that works at 94 degrees wich runs the engine a fair bit warmer than normal ( just under the red )

then added a 15mm ball valve and 2 elbers to bypass the stat via a cable hopperaited thing on the dash ( old austin mini choke knobby thing ) wich works bleddy wonders with no friggin about with kenlowe fans and all that shyte

me next trick is gunner be fitting the heater blower out of a ****run saxo coz theyre almost identicul to the series blower exept theyre made of plastic have 4 speeds and are fast as fook

thing is when i took it out of the car i forgot to grab the fan controll switch so thats the next thing on me list

my inboard thermometer thingymajig recorded an in cab temp of 31.6C on me way back from minty's last week. Had to turn the cold blower on. and open the window to cool down a bit..

And temp needle never got past halfway.

I remember my Dads old ex-MoD 110 FFR had its own central heating system for when it went up to the arctic with the marines. It just had copper pipe going from the engine bay and plumbed around the rear bulkhead, circulating hot water around and heating up the cab wonderfully. Worked great

The way my s3 pulls on braking I'll be the #### in a hedge somewhere. The mundano decided to lock its rear caliper today and heat the disc glowing red! So landy for the commute tomorrow. My wife couldn't work out why i was lying in the rain and dark just now adjusting the brakes. Bet they still bloody pull.....:frown:
Friday will snow big time apparently.

Mine went a treat yesterday except for one thing....stupid 4 point harness stopped me reaching the yellow knob and nearly wiped out three cars before I managed to pop the buckle and pop it into 4wd!
