well it seems to have all the signs of being the vcu. If it was the ird then i whould have thought it whouldnt drive propaly there as when ur driving at higher speeds it fine thanks

for some reason my last post has disapeared. I just want to no if i change the vcu will this fix my proublems as other posts are saying that when the car suders at low speed in 4th and 5th this is also the vcu and mine does that. thanks

I am in whittlsey near peterborough. I dont mind paying out 250 for a new vcu theres a place in norwich i have just found that does reconditioned vcus for 300 including fitting but how will i no if thats all i need? thanks

because i just thought that it was the brakes where it hadnt been used for a while. I really should have read on here before i went. Its bought now so i need to fix it and determan what it is that needs fixing. live and learn

Yes i no about the headgasket proublems and that was all done bill to prove it. No option to take it back. I am on a low budget so theres no way i can aford a td4 mate. How easy is it to take out the rear prop. So can anybody help me with theys proublems please please
