can anyone help and tell me what oil goes in front diff,gearbox,transfer box, rear diff please ...is there anywere else i should check?????:confused: i got 10w40 for engine :D its a defender 90 - 2.5 td5 , 51 plate its getting hard to get 2nd gear when cold and was thinking i need a top up...

i had this problem not so long back i stuck a pin in and it went deep :mooning: maybe get 1 of those big pins and play with it more also dont have them pointing to close to the windscreen or they do dribble,well mine did lol :banana:

got my defender 6 months ago godsend in the winter :crazy_driver: cant carry my girlfriends 2 kids,sumet to do with law and seatbelts, still looking into it as she ****ed with me for buying it lol im broad as well but i lean on the cubby box and when summers here arm with live out the window...

becaus my 90 td5 had a rubbing noise on the drivers side wheel, it went back in to the garage and the mechanic said it was in the CV joint inside the swivel housing i think. he also said something about hub and catipillar?. he told me he put a litre of oil in there. it didnt sound right to me...

i been told just normal oil is better than anything else just brush it on :D

i have a 90 td5 driving today when ever i was turning left or going left around a bend i heard what seems like a rubbing noise coming from the wheels i think more on the drivers side. later on it was happening in a straight line only when driving slower though,when cruising it seems ok. my bro...

naw its not my dorris ,she aint been in the back yet :-) but thinking about going to work today when i turned my indicator on to turn i did see the trailer light flash on my dash quickly,it happened twice so ill check it tomorrow and under the arches thanks every1

started up to come home and heard a low buzzing sound coming from the back of my defender 90. when i got home it was dark but i could hear the buzzing outside my landy to the rear .it sounds as if its coming from the left lights or by the tow bar. real strange wondered if any1 had any ideas...

fixed my window washer's, st8uck a pin right in the holes (went quite far)gave it a little toggle,looked like some dirt was in there. then kept the washer button depressed untill it started working thanks for info
