Hi, I just bought a 1989 Defender 90 which is in reasonable condion and I was thinking of getting it waxolyed. A local landrover independant garage said he would do it for £400 plusVAT. does that sound reasonable?
i been told just normal oil is better than anything else
just brush it on
When you consider I paid 760 quid for a brand new galv chassis for me 110 then no, it doesn't sound very reasonable. Having said that it's a ****ty job and I wouldn't do it for a gold pig.

what's normal oil? old engine oil?
use the firm who advertise on a full page in lro kleentext i think ? they are at rugby read the advert sounds good 450 plus vat
pos, where abouts is that as the brother in law can't afford the time to do it himself? Will they do a VW camper?
Bloody hell thats a rip off, will he be wearing golden gloves whilst he's doing it? I know a garage that will steam clean and waxoil the entire under side of a vehicle for £60 cash, no questions asked. I can pass on their details if you like. They're in West Yorkshire mind
