i did think earths but there are none down there, all ive done is bypass the sedimenter because it was leaking.... just been and checked the front bulb h4 all is fine but the front sidelight is working??? i find it strange as its the headlight dash and tail light.

hi all..... just fitted a new diesel pipe today on the 300tdi, all went well but........ started the disco after we had finished the fuel lines and now we have no dash illumination and both the drivers side tail light and headlight are inoperative. 1, checked fuses best i could in the dark 2...

ive already said i checked it with the engine running etc big lad, im trying to find out why in the first place when the level was fine and had been for weeks it decided to throw fluid out in all fairness your answer dosnt really help mate:rolleyes:

just a quick update, shes had a good soak in wd40 and fluid level is cock on although it definatley does feel tighter on the wheel when driving, dont get me wrong it actualy feels better than it did before but as i take the kids in it just want to make sure its ok, any info on why it decided...

ive been out for a poke about and it seems fine now, no bubbles in the fluid at all,checked it with engine running from lock to lock the steering does stil feel a bit stiffer than usual when driving though (or im just paranoid) think il get the wd40 out tomorow and see if that helps :rolleyes:

il check it out tomorow, where would i find this gasket? silicone sounds like the way forward lol:D

was out in my 200 last night and the steering appeard to get a bit tighter have a nosey this morning i have noticed the fluid level had dropped an inch or two so filled back up, with the engine started and turning from lock to lock i have noticed the fluid is passing the lid and squirting out...

guys ive recently repiped all my heaters up so the front 4 vent some warm air, but the temp gauge never really sees above a quarter on the gauge, and also takes a good 5 to 6 mile to warm up, ive read a load of posts on the matter but none really say if its safe etc

hi all i stil have the problem with my difflock, as i said earlier in the post i tried engaging the other night but i forgot to mention the lever feels too easy from left to right almost soggy would be a better description. i am stil able to select high and low from both sides but i do think...

well after a good poke about under the dash i have sorted the problem now, it appears the 4 front vents in mine are actually meant to blow cold, it could just be me been thick :doh: but maybee the blue dots on each one of the vents represent cold air!! anyways after a few cigs and cups of...

i agree its the time of the year for batterys now as ive just replaced mine after having a similar problem,, starts a1 now without a preheat

hi all im also having problems with my heaters but not the same problem as the other poster. i have toasty warm air from the feet and window settings but the 4 main vents are blowing colder than cold, any ideas if they are meant to blow warm or cold???:confused:

tried to engage difflock earlier and noticed the light didnt come on as usual,not sure if it did engage or not any suggestions on how to go about checking it?

i have a cb in my 200 tdi, if i key up for over 5 or six seconds, the wipers go off on one, and it blows the inline fuse to the cb...... i dont know how or what the guy wired it to but its great with the ignition off lol.

i had the same with my 300tdi , i found a good squirt of wd40 nsorted it....;)

anyone going on the 13th of december????
