1993 disco, heater problem

hi all im also having problems with my heaters but not the same problem as the other poster.
i have toasty warm air from the feet and window settings but the 4 main vents are blowing colder than cold, any ideas if they are meant to blow warm or cold???

Yes should be either perhaps the damper control cable cutting off the cold air and diverting the hot air is disconnected.

ok just been out for a poke around but couldnt see anything adrift....
where would i find this damper control cable matey?:doh:

well after a good poke about under the dash i have sorted the problem now, it appears the 4 front vents in mine are actually meant to blow cold,
it could just be me been thick :doh: but maybee the blue dots on each one of the vents represent cold air!!

anyways after a few cigs and cups of tea i have cut and re joined a few of the hoses under the dash and i now have re plumbed it all so i get hot air from everywhere

a job well done if i say so myself....

no more cold drives

:doh: I did not see that you had a 200 series disco, what you have is correct the same as my old RRC.:doh:

The 300 series has an air blending system with the extra cables controling dampers.
