It has a plate in the middle of the rad header to force the water through the core you can see it from the bleed bung when it's removed as it was one of my thoughts too

Checked the sensor and is the green top one that is 300 and V8 according to the part number that discool gave me that's where the guage seems to fluctuate and stay around where it is under normal driving

Classic temp guage clocks sender or head

I'm not even sure if it's the right dash or not it's been messed about with a lot it's an 85 so think it should have the early dash in, and it originally didn't have a thermostat in have since put one I haven't taken it on a long journey as didn't want to cook it but sits about 3/4 most of the...

can anyone here identify these clocks just from looking I have a constant high temp reading, originally its a early V8 so wrong style of clocks to start with and it's been converted to a 300tdi and as far as I can gather this dash wasn't used for a 300 either , trying to figure out if it's a...

Take the lid off and give it a sniff to see if it smells burnt , diesels also have 3 different part numbers for the fuse box and they are different and dont interchange, I do have a brand new one depending on what one yours is
