Sorry, I didn’t mean to offend anybody, I appreciate that I am a new member so I am not used to this type of site. My car is a Range Rover Vogue TDV8 on an 09 plate. Please understand that I am just desperate to find out what the problem is. Again please accept my apologies for coming across rude

The mileage is 138,234 and the car has full history up to 121,000. I have not had the car very long so don’t really know much more. Would say that when I removed the water tank the coolant was pink and had not mixed with the oil. As I said it was only a very small amount, probably an oil cap...

Ok thanks, just want some good news as I am afraid to use the car since I noticed the oil. Don’t want to do any damage

Trouble is I purchased the car privately so no warranty. The other problem is buying the car has left me a bit short especially with no work at the moment. I am concerned that it may be the head gaskets from what I am seeing on the internet

I have cleaned the header tank out and run the car a few times and so far there is no oil, however I am afraid to drive the car in case I do any damage. Don’t know what to do

I have an 09 Range Rover Vogue. There is a small amount of black oil in the water header tank. I have checked the coolant and it doesn’t seem to be contaminated and the engine oil is clear and has no contamination. Any ideas anyone
