    Hi So ive just dropped a new 300tdi from a disco into my 90. Originally a 19j diesel. I have two spade connectors coming out of my drivers side footwell, tied together so presumably one positive, one negative. Where do these go? I have the fuel pump and oil filter spades connected. Thanks

    So. Got home from work fairly early, and got the engine out of the 90. Lowering the engine back in, the engine has lugs to align the bellhousing and engine. The motor I pulled doesnt have these, and the gearbox doesnt have the holes for them. Am I safe to grind these off, and then it should bolt...

    I have quickly had the rear axle apart to change a leaky seal. I think (from vague memory) they are 10 spline. Already put new Terrafirma flanges on and I think they were the thicker type. Will give the Disco halfshafts etc a look. Thanks

    Okay, so LT77 I cant fit a catch plate without cutting, but I can put the crossdrilled gear in the transfer box if the suffix is c or above. So that leads me to think I would be better buying a post 97 r380, ill do all the reading to see if that will fit now I suppose! Thanks for the help

    I know you can buy the cross drilled input gear now, but did LR ever decide to use the cross drilled input gear on the LT77 from factory? If so what year? From my understanding the TDI was the death of LT boxes, so i would presume no as the fix came during r380? Thanks
