    (on a private track) ,,,,,,, mine does 85 mph constant 1;2 ratio tbox 285/75/16 300 tdi fully rebuilt pump, engine, injectors ,boost pin ,i know this as unbeknown to me ,the track is owned by HRH and therefore is private !! but not for me!! so ticket later and speed awareness course later...

    18k and my time was free ,,,i bought a complete basket case knowing i would rebuild or replace most of it it.... (in my view) ended up better than new just wish that i did a110 in place of the 90 as I've gained 2 more grand children since i started it and I've got a 4th on the way lol

    spigot bush should be soaked in oil for a week or so as they are slightly porous i tend to have a few sat in a jar of oil on a shelf lol

    Yeah mine too off manifold at 16psi pulls like a train loves 3rd and 5 on motorway with the 1.2. Disco transfer box lot of gear changes around town but they are a “drivers car”

    Update done 700 miles in “THE GENERAL” chased a few diesel leaks all sorted now but the ‘mark one’ gear selector I made as a feasibility study to see if it could be done worked a treat but as I built it without seals it leaked (go figure) so made a new oil tight version happy days on a foot...

    fit all the heater system done a full tdci bulkhead on my 300 build ,,,and the heater gets too hot ,yes a defender with to hot an heater who'd a thort it lol

    or do what i did make anew selector housing a disco cdl upgrade leaver so as able to retain puma heater puma stick covers etc will post a pic tomorrow
