What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

heated windscreen in my defender is by far one of the most used and valued mods, given the lack of warm air to the windcreen in winter. It makes the car much more drivable in winter when you can actually see where your going :)

    300 Tdi Rebuild

Gutted. Out of ideas now as to what this could be. You've literally tried everything. For sure oil is getting through the turbo and into the intake as to why that is nobody knows as the turbo is new, oil pressure is fine, correct oil, correct oil temperature, good oil return. If it's any...

    300 Tdi Rebuild

blocked DPFs are more prevalent but amount to the same problem of exhaust back pressure. Have a read https://www.melett.com/technical/why-turbos-fail/can-dpf-cause-turbo-failure/ " Oil leaks into the compressor housing can be seen as a consequence of exhaust gas forcing its way into the CHRA...

    300 Tdi Rebuild

pressure on the exhaust side pushes through into the cold side of the turbo. I was reading how blocked DPF's can knacker turbos and this was a way.

    300 Tdi Rebuild

Have you considered that maybe you have excessive back pressure in the exhaust ? that can cause the turbo to leak oil. the 300tdi have a Catalytic converter and maybe yours is blocked. I dunno, you've tried everything else ight be worth having a look.

    Starter grinding timing conundrum

Id retard the engine significantly to see if the problem sorts itself out whilst trying to replicate the previous problems. Won't do any harm to try anyway.
