Would anyone know off a good, (preferably cheap:D), place to get a replacement Air spring for my shock, mine has a hole in it that wont allow adjustment to full height? Any help appreciated! :)

They put a new TC in with the recon box, I made sure of that! :D

Well after much back and forth to dealers, they have finally put in a recon box with a 12 month unlimited mileage warranty and it drives as should! :)

They reckon I have buyers remorse...

I think I may take to Land Rover to check it out. Cheers for quick responce

Right, dealer had for 2 x weeks and took to gearbox specialist who said there is nothing wrong with the gearbox. All the people at dealership who have drove it say there is nothing wrong including the owner. He says that you need to wait 30 secs after starting the car as it is a 2003 first model...

Left it at dealers over weekend, they started it yesterday morning and said it was fine. Everyday my wife or I start it there is a problem so I said keep the car till you find one do they said call them Thursday as they will leave it sitting for 2 days and see what happens. If they still say...

Yeah, I see what your saying, but now i've had time to calm down and think about it, on my budget I would be getting another high milage one and could be ok to start and develop problems 1, 2 years later. Everything else seems ok. Least this way I will hopefuly have a recon box and not have any...

Yeah, thought as much by all the stuff I've been reading. Hopefully that's what the specialist will recommend.

Going to take it to my local Land Rover specialist and see if they recommend a complete recon box, if so I would be happy to keep it knowing i shouldnt get any more box issues and get dealer to pay, if not its money back route.

Spoke to dealer today, they said if it is the torque converter that can be changed on its own. I always thought if you had the box out you just replaced the whole gearbox unit as well as it isnt worth putting it back only for something else to go wrong and have to take it out again?

Yeah, I looked into it and looks to be a few hundered quid! Not really worth for that money although did see an option to add reversing camera to that expensive system for not much more but think I will sustain for now.

I payed £11,500 for it with 109,000 on the clock. Engine sounds lovely. Was looking at a few within 30 mile radius and they where all around that price for full service history ones from traders. Only got it from a trader incase of such problems, I only hope that they sort it all out, even if...

Yeah, hopefully they will sort something out, I picked them to buy from as they had Bentley's, Ferari's, Aston Martins etc, but that probably dont mean **** now days
