yep -can be done - you can do it yourself but ecu has to be re-programmed so you need someone with diagnostics. don't know where you are but this place in Birmingham does it for a TD5 for £225 (inc all fittings & ECU re-programmed) - seems a good price to me Range Rover P38A Air Suspension...

dont think so - I've removed the 2 rear seats out the back of my TD5 - easy to do - just a coupla bolts, but I think you'll find the fittings are complelely different ( disco 1 face inwards, while disco II face forwards, ) I may be wrong, but I dont think the two are interchangeable.
