    Battery Losing Charge

Checked and running just over 14.4---14.6v. does that mean something is draining it overnight or alternator? How long should it take to charge the battery fully on a battery charger?

    Disco 2 interior plastics cleaner

Another for traffic film remover sprayed on, left and wiped off. I don't find soapy water even with a nail brush gets the grime out of the textured finish.

Stuck Cartridge in Multi-changer CD Discovery (Under Drivers seat)....

Once it has started doing that I think its a sign of wear and its very common. To get it reconditioned is about £90. The same happened to me and after getting sick of fiddling around I bought a new head unit with blue tooth for my phone built in for around the same money. Fitting was a doddle...

    Battery Losing Charge

Being hopeless with electrics I am after ideas of what to check. Battery was flat yesterday morning when I came to start the car so I thought it was ok as car had been standing a few days without use, even though it will normally stand indefinitely and then start fine. So I charged battery all...

Disco 2 CD Changer not working

Mine did this and the local repair place said it was very common and would cost about £80 to sort out. I opted for an Alpine replacement head unit which has built in hands free capability and to be honest the sound quality is better. I have lost my column mounted stalks as I was too tight to but...

    Please help newbie

The main thing to look out for on a disco1 is rust as has been said. Sills, rear wheel arches and chassis particularly around fuel tank. Some cars will lok in great condition but underneath will be little more than scrap. I would forget about converting gearboxes and just buy what suits you...

The remap is brilliant and worth every penny. I have had no reliability issues and don't notice any difference in consumption but it drives like a different car.

    Disco 2 New Battery

I bought a Halfords one last year as it was half the price the local LR specialist wanted to charge me. its fitted fine and done what I need without any issues. If its the right power then a battery is a battery, doesn't have to be sexy.
