As Hippo stated earlier, if the rear prop turns and the front prop doesn't then the VCU is probably empty of fluid or in open state. Some reconditioners sell these on eBay, Bell engineering don't.

You need to fill the tank again and divide the miles by the amount. Sounds like it could be in the very low twenties. What engine do you have and what sort of journeys do you make also is it manual or auto ?

Does it feel like oil or water, you could also try a little on your tongue to see wether its antifreeze or oil.

TD4 on the OP's stats. Far as I was aware glycol based antifreeze shouldn't be used in the TD4.

If it is coolant, which it certainly looks like, then it's the wrong antifreeze. It should be OAT which is a straw/pink colour not green which is glycol based. Sorry can't help with the leak location but dropping the undertray off should help you locate it. It also helps if you put the type...

Have to be honest and say that there's no way I can get more than 30 mpg and 35 mpg on a Mway run out of my TD4. Tried all the two stroke and synergy options but still can't achieve anywhere near what other members claim. I suppose if I stuck to 55 mph, which is the advice from the government...
