I'm a little bit daft and don't know the maths but I filled up my motor all the way to the top, couldn't squeeze in a single drop more! Now it is all the way at the bottom light on to say its getting dehydrated please could some one tell me my MPG I have driven 300 miles on a tank, in my opinion that is crap but what do I know

You need to fill the tank again and divide the miles by the amount. Sounds like it could be in the very low twenties.
What engine do you have and what sort of journeys do you make also is it manual or auto ?
