That was from 2001 onwards (white indicators) if i'm not mistaken. Some say its a straight forward job, some say it requires fitting, dunno tbh

there are a couple pre-facelifts in Malta like that, to be honest they are hideous plus it takes out the aggresiveness (if there's any:P) the facelift still has two sections which are not colour coded which are enough in its case

try the pressure sensor, it might have dirty connections and if it's the case, the ecu will have a bad reading and start shoving in diesel like crazy (bad for pocket and bad for the lungs of the person behind :p)

There's one lying in the cubby box (underneath the handbrake) as some models have a 12v out.

^^^^this. issue normally appears on VAG cars (VW, Seat, Audi, Skoda etc) Cable colours on aftermarket iso are yellow and red if I remember correctly

Soooo the problem has again occured. has anyone tried fitting a 7812 voltage regulator to the sidelamps? i think i will give it a try

you could connect 6 leds in series powered by a 7805 fed by 12v. take out the steering cowl and fix them with hot glue facing the dash (obviously) problem solved ;)
