Hello all , since getting my freelander i have found the speedo poor to read in certain lighting conditions , i think L R could have done better job on the dials etc , even the green backlight , when the lights are on , are not that bright , and theres no ajustment , A friends new nissan dash lights and dials were very good , made mine look like the black hole , any way , i thought id share this mod , i used a led head torch , removed the battery holder , soldered up a lenth of two core wire to a 9v battery , fitted it to the dash with a sticky pad , and it works a treat , I only use it when its needed
