Where exactly do the shims go? I don't remember there being any shims when i took the transfer gear out. Are they between the outer race and the gear itself?

Okey doke, i'll get one of them and give it a go. I'm hoping if I re-use the old bearings I won't have to shim the tfer gear assembly when it goes back in, whcih i may have to do if i use brand new ones.

Thanks James. Struggling a bit to see how that tool will work in this case as you can't get it behnind the roller cage. I guess you would have to get it behind the small lip of the cage that sticks out?

OK, so i got my old input gear out, and have the new one and new bearings ready to fit. The original bearings on the old input gear actually look in fine condition - but I can't see how on earth i could ever get them off to swap em over, there is hardly anything to grip with a puller. Any ideas...

I believe the seat base should be screwed to the seatbox cover plate, which is then heldm in place by the little clasp thinggy on the front of the seatbox. At least thats how mine is set up. Ad

theres no stub axle seal on the rear. the front stub axles have an oil seal on the inside to stop the oil escaping from the swivel. If its gear oil that is coming through the stub on the rear you may either have too much oil in the diff or a blocked breather. If its grease leaking it will...

Sorted. Turbo outlet now pointing in right direction :D. All I need now is a hose to connect it to the inlet manifold :o

Ok thanks guys, looks like i should have done this before putting the engine in dohhhh! Will try lubing and tapping otherwise it will have to be manifold and turbo off as theres not enough room to work on it now. I'll make up a spacer to lift the engine a bit as well. Getting to the drivers...
