Hi, I suspect the silicone is there to try and prevent the leak from the axle/hub joint. It should only need the large O ring to seal properly. Have done 2 of my rears and both times it was the actual bearing that was causing the leak not the O ring. Most folks don't put locktite on the splines...

The D2 clutches are noted for being difficult to bleed. Are you happy it's been bled ok? One piece of advice I was given is to depress to pedal with a pice of wood etc and leave it overnight to allow the air to travel up to the master cylinder. Griff

Hi, When I had my clutch replaced the person obviously snapped the oil pressure wire. They repaired it but conected it to the wrong terminal on the switch. Just a thought. Griff

From memory about 6mm. The size of the hole in the cover plate will dictate the size. Griff
