D2 Oil pressure switch?

Think this is the oil pressure switch behind the oil filter on my pre facelift D2 td5. The black wire is not attached to anything, no warning light etc, where should it be and is it a problem? Cheers.

If no warning light on ignition it's a big problem i hope you are aware of that ... cos in that case you dont know if it comes on for low pressure or not :rolleyes:
 
Descapri, can you confirm, that when you turn the ignition, you get the red oil warning indicator, which goes out when the engine fires up....

Yes I know that sierrafery it doesn't illuminate during the bulb check so need to sort the problem.
 
Hi, When I had my clutch replaced the person obviously snapped the oil pressure wire. They repaired it but conected it to the wrong terminal on the switch. Just a thought.

Exactly my thoughts as a lof clutch was fitted December last year I've left a message for the previous owner and awaiting a response..
