Thinking of swopping out my petrol 2.5 engine 90 (1986) for a tdi. Couple questions. Is it best to try get hold of a defender 200/300 engine only or buy a knackered Disco and throw in engine, gearbox, transfer box and axles at the same time my 90 came with power steeering so not sure how...

Does an ifor williams 90 pickup cover (pig pen style with swinging door) go straight onto the back of a 90 pickup or do you have to drill holes or anythign else first before you can mount it ? going to collect one which has the bolts included and hoping to drive the 90 up and come back with it...

I know it sounds daft but I did read somewhere that with the extra air getting / being forced in there may be problems with getting enough fuel in. Not sure what would cause it and not sure how viable that is. Just something that I rememberd reading a while ago.

they have done that lane which was sloping quite badly includign cutting back the hedges and new gates that comes out by the farm. They have also done the one that goes from boiling well. They have also started another one but cant remember where it was now - was up there last weekend
