What did you do with your Range Rover today

A man from Autoglass came back out as, after they replaced the passenger window last week (big old crack in it when we got it back from airport parking, who are denying all knowledge👍) nothing on the passenger door is working. Central locking, folding mirrors, mirror dipping when in reverse...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Yeah, they’re OK I suppose. But I thought you meant the sprung tabs like on my Commander-in-Chief’s little Audi convertible; they adapt to the size of the beverage. First world problems x 1 million when the turbos could give up the ghost at any moment! Why did he call you that?! It’s only the...

I don’t understand the cup holders in the L322 either. Standard size can of pop, bottle of water or even a keep-warm mug just rattle around in them. Has anyone found a bottle or cup that actually fits snugly in there? (The ‘middle circle’ bit is good for a big pot of chewing gum at least...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

New fog lamps fitted. Old ones had got all misted up inside. Decided to replace and I’m pleased I did as the originals (they were genuine LR so assume original) were very worn out. As expected after 17 years I guess! Was a bugger to prize the bezels off. Thought I was being weak taking so long...

New Samco turbo hoses (Yes, absolute tart). Will hopefully be a worthwhile bit of preventative maintenance though.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

This morning I opened up the sunroof on my L322 TDV8 (madness, but all worked including one-touch close!) and poured some soapy water down the drainage holes. Got a bit of blistering on the side/end of the driver’s side dash and worried that the water isn’t draining with all this rain. Came...

L322 RSE/Rear Seat Entertainment screen issue

The connection goes from the rear left panel to the front screen then back to the rear screens does it? So that wiring would be in that daunting bundle under the front seats?!

L322 RSE/Rear Seat Entertainment screen issue

Hello all, been playing around with all the functions on my ‘new’ (56) pride and joy (in profile pic). There’s a lot to go wrong, isn’t there? I’ve come across a strange problem which I can’t find anywhere else on the forum: First world problems, I know, but the RSE screens in the headrests are...

Had 73miles range left…cost me £149.70 for a few drops shy of 81litres. I’m having super noodles for my tea!!

Yeah, had to be very careful not to get blinded by *those* wheels and five new Pirelli Scorpion Verde tyres. A bit of lacquer peel on the bonnet and a touch of rust in the wheel arches (of course). But he’d been up front about that in the ad.

Haha, yup, that’s the one! It’s been remapped to bypass the EGR valves and had the turbos replaced. But 148k so I’ll have to keep an eye on them. And keep on top of the gearbox maintenance with the remapping!

My ‘new’ (late 2006) one. Finally a replacement for my absolutely broken 2002 model.

Topped up the screenwash (that’s a big old reservoir isn’t it?! Took a whole container)…then filled her up with diesel for the first time since purchase. Christ! And I though the X5 I’d been borrowing cost a lot to fuel!!

    L322 Won’t start

Does a thread from March ‘21 count as a necropost?! Anyway, there’s a happy ending (for now) in that I brought home my new toy this week. Late 2006 3.6 TDV8. Can’t stop looking at her. A joy to drive. Booked in to my local specialist for a service and inspection soon so then I guess I’ll see...

    L322 Won’t start

Anyway, the ‘warranty’ the dealer promised quickly evaporated when I told him it needed a new amplifier. Thankfully he agreed to refund and collect the car. So I’m not massively out of pocket. But I do need a new Range Rover! Still looking for a post-2006 green one with cream leather...that’s...

Christ, just realised with a start I never replied here after all the helpful suggestions! What a dreadful bloke. Anyway, my lovely RR went into the specialist and it turned out the ICE/amp was incredibly corroded. There wasn’t any obvious sign of water damage in the boot but I’ll know next time...
