What did you do with your Range Rover today

Insured my other P38 project car ready for tyres & MOT. £224 for the year. Few weeks ago the cheapest I could find was about £600, but this deal popped up.

Did a similar search on Grove & Dean in case it was money supermarket glitch, but same price.

My renewal is coming up in a few months, so you are giving me hope. But a lot can change in that time. Has anybody tried those 4x4 insurers advertised in LR magazines and the green laneing ones (if you do receive them), how do those compare for you?

Chaps, help needed. Took the car out to the gas station prior to MOT this morning. I got half way there before ABS Traction failure light comes on. Nanocom job at test centre, no faults to clear however lights reset. Test goes ahead (though tester not impressed with pedal) anyway ‘38 failed on corroded off side brake pipes. On way home, bong, abs and tc lights on again…nano, no faults. I fitted a new ABS sensor as part of the ball joint process, and the fuse box was replaced fault finding the srs light issue. Could this be a brake position sensor as the brakes appear to be working? Next time I go out it’ll probably clear, but likely will come on again.

From my experience, unlikely to be the switch, the brake lights must come on/off at the right times?
If the pedal is funny, could be that.. how often does the pump run and for how long?

A man from Autoglass came back out as, after they replaced the passenger window last week (big old crack in it when we got it back from airport parking, who are denying all knowledge👍) nothing on the passenger door is working. Central locking, folding mirrors, mirror dipping when in reverse, nada. Weirdly the window switch is working on the passenger side, but not responding from the switch on the driver’s side. And the driver’s mirror is still folding in when I push the special button, but the passenger mirror is very easy to fold in by hand. Like the gearing has gone. Autoglass man couldn’t fix it, says the error was there when they came out to replace the window last week (I can’t actually prove that it wasn’t)…and now the Range Rover won’t start! Cranks, then doesn’t crank then I get the Gearbox Fault Transmission Limited message. Lots of unpleasant noises from behind the dash. Never done that before! I’ve walked away and will try again in the morning. Great fun.

Also, does anyone know what’s missing here please? Not sure if it’s related to the issues above but I’m not keen on having holes in an L322. Land Rover already did such a nice job with that🤣

Can't comment on the window or mirror but the non starting & gearbox fault is typical of low battery voltage.
