    Indicator front light

Dunno if the F2 has a similar setup, but when that happened on my F1, a contact between housing that the bulb plugs into and the lamp had burnt out.

    2 Amigos [Solved]

Wonder if 1 of the plugs on the ABS ECU under the seat has come loose? It might have permanently lost a sensor or 2 and is flickering others so it loses the road speed?

    2 Amigos [Solved]

Is there nowhere down there that can read the Wabco codes? Both times I've had the Amigos it was the modulator (shuttle valves). Stranger coincidents have happened! The 3rd time they came on after getting stuck on the Rangitata river bed, but they clear after driving for a bit and haven't...

    Freelander 1 Tailgate WindowI have

TBH the CCU is probably the last thing to fail. If it had a problem, likelihood is that all sorts of things would be failing on the car as it controls most things that have wires controlling them.

What have you done to your Freelander today

Did you use an Autel AP200? Did it work properly and tell you it had done the job or did it crash but the keys were programmed correctly?

    Lost key

There's 2 RF type things - for the immobiliser and the locking. 1 is difficult to replace. @pscan.eu has told us many times all about it.... but I can never remember which and what's easier to replace :vb-groan2: It may be worth your while talking to a dealer to see what they can offer. It...

    Freelander 1 Tailgate WindowI have

As you've read many discussions about the rear window, you will know what makes the window drop. You may be over thinking it. The micro switch in the handle sends a signal to the CCU. The CCU activates the motor to lower the window. The CCU then sends power to the solenoid in the latch to...

    Freelander 1 Tailgate WindowI have

They are built into the door latch. There were a few threads about them a few weeks back.

    Freelander 1 Tailgate WindowI have

Normally the problem with sensors in doors is that the computers think the door is open when its not. Sounds like maybe you have the reverse - the sensor has failed showing the door closed (so raises the window) when it is actually open. Does the door open light come on when the back door is...

    Freelander 1 Tailgate WindowI have

When closing the door, the glass should only rise after the door is latched closed, not before. When it does rise, and it goes the wrong side of the recess, this is a purely 'mechanical' issue. The runners being out of alignment - either badly adjusted, worn or there is damage to the door - eg...

Freelander 1 3 Amigo's with handbrake and no working speedometer/RPM/temprature.

Looks like your dash has lost its network connection. If you don't get any suggestions on here, it may be time to call in the auto electrician.

    That's a cracking looking motor.

What have you done to your Freelander today

Think the F1 must be pretty reliable, as I haven't needed anything off the parts car for a while.

    Freelander 1 No gear selection.

Bugger. Always best to break down at a nice place though. In my much younger days me and my mates were heading down to Camber Sands for the day when the Spartan popped 3 studs on a wheel. Luckily I managed to stop before the last 1 went. Happened right outside an Oast house cafe, so coffee...

What have you done to your Freelander today

They are just things in the ABS system related to the gearbox. However, TBH, I don't think they would throw just the ABS, more likely give 2 Amigos without the ABS! To then throw the full monty 3 Amigos, suggests 2 problems... probably from the ABS sensor that was cleaned up  I recon...

What have you done to your Freelander today

Is that a typo? Was it the SRS light or ABS? Is it one or both of the 1st/reverse sensor wires on the gearbox loose?
