U think? I had all the tiles behind the cooker right along 6' to the boiler fall off due to heat, I have just finnished grinding off all the adhesive and grout to re-use them as B&Q stopped selling that colour. I looked like a bloody snowman after all that grinding!!

When I said it would lock the wheels I mean if you really give it some welly (Black ones) I always thought "standard" landy brakes were very powerfull any way so why change a good thing.... I'll try paddocks but I really wanted to know if anybody knew which model of TDi to get, SWB yes, are...

Got a 200TDi for £475 including ALL the gubbins for the change! Well pleased, just hope it's a good one!! Has anybody here taken off the electric fuel pump and re-piped a landy tank? What bit's will I need for doing it, I'll try to get them sorted before I start the engine swop.

I want a 200TDi but I can't seem to get one, the Ebay ones go for silly money, a local breaker does them for £400 but only does 300TDi's now......Anybody got a spare 200TDi with all the bits for a fair price please drop me a line!

Will a diesel Sherpa engine fit? Need quick answers!!

Yes it is petrol, I understand now that the tank mounted pump will be U/S so I will have to look at how to remove it. I'm going to have to find a filter unit for the engine then......and some pipe and joiners etc. Fun! Thanks for the help, now to see if I can get the lump!

Will a diesel Sherpa engine fit? Need quick answers!!

Cheers for all the good info Charles! What did you do with the electric fuel pump by the tank? Do you leave that one fitted and just change the filter?? There is a small "collection" pot under the bonnet of mine which I presume I remove and connect the flow and return fuel lines to the landy...

    Paint job

Have you used it recently in it's "new" formulation? It's pretty naff now and does not cover well at all IMHO. Still good for "heavy" use areas like foot steps and underneath, but for on show hand paint I use international Japlac as sold in Focus. Shiney and hard but would chip on a front bumper.

Err, my 35000 mile one will be a "bit" cheaper then that! :)

    wanted 2.25 petrol

I'm really interested in a 200 or an early 300 with the throttle cable not the sensor type. (Hard to retrofit so I'm told). It needs to have the full rad/intercooler/wiring and relays, would take a full rotten disco with a good engine... Would be good of you/anybody else if you see/hear of such...
